Cycling Circuit Mechelen - Boom

This route leads through the Burgundian city with its wealth of ancient monuments and on through the peaceful river landscape that surrounds it. The traffic-free towpaths of the Dyle, Nete, Zenne and Rupel rivers provide a green corridor for cyclists through the Mechels Broek, Zennegat and Vrijbroekpark wildlife areas. And with Het Anker brewery-distillery as the starting and finishing point, you won’t go thirsty!

Circuit Mechelen-Boom is part of the Flanders’ Finest Cycle Routes. These routes take you past all the wonderful things Flanders has to offer. Cycle through surprising landscapes and past unique heritage. Stop for a moment to enjoy arts both large and small, and to sample our many gastronomic assets.
